Bek & Mark have many years of musical experience alone and have come together finding harmony on a new musical journey .

Bek Wermut became a Registered Music Therapist in 2007 after completing a Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy at UTS, and previously a BA in Music and Psychology at Sydney University.
​
She studied classical piano from an early age and later went on to learn guitar and percussion. Through her music therapy studies Bek developed a passion for hand drumming and rhythm facilitation, it's huge range of applications and multitude of benefits.
​
Bek has trained extensively in music facilitation with world renowned drummer and father of the modern drum circle movement, Arthur Hull, completing all levels of training and hosting his Sydney training programs. She has also trained with US based music therapist Christine Stevens, a global leader in the field of therapeutic drumming, as well as being an accredited facilitator of the Holyoake DRUMBEAT program and Rhythm2Recovery model.

Mark Rosenberg has been playing guitar and writing songs for most of his life. He has played guitar and sung in multiple bands in Australia and overseas finding his way and making his musical mark in a multitude of genres.
Mark's major musical influence is the Beatles and has found a way to combine their melodic inspiration and combined it with music meditation creating a unique and colourful musical experience for one and all.
Mark plays acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukulele and vocals.
Bek and Mark's diverse and creative backgrounds combined with thier unique musical talents, they have found a musical match in perfect harmony.

Together as Harpbeat, they offer a range of musical experiences including Music for Yin Yoga, Music for Meditation, Kirtan Music, Singalong's in English and Sanskrit with the occasional Beatles song thrown in for good measure.

Harpbeat offer a unique interactive musical experience. Every attendee of their performance becomes part of the journey, either physically, spiritually and absolutely energetically.
